The stage of living with Corona virus in Morocco

Morocco has entered a new and unprecedented phase in its confrontation with the emerging Corona virus, after the total number of confirmed cases in the Kingdom exceeded the 100,000 cases.

I have personally noticed that people are no longer afraid of virus  as it was in last March possibly because they have become accustomed to the virus and its daily news.

These numbers were not expected by anyone last March, and the worst expectations were 10 thousand cases in the third stage, but the foci and subsequent developments raised the numbers in an unprecedented way.

However, this increase in the number of cases is accompanied by a calm among some citizens, who are no longer afraid of injuries as it was in the past, which is a strange paradox.

Have Moroccans actually entered the stage of living with the virus, or is caution a duty during this stage?

Experts believe that "people are afraid of new things, so the precautions in March were completely different from now."

They consider that the coexistence journey between mankind and viruses has always existed, and coexistence is related to the person's response and the virulence of the virus, which decreases with the passage of time.

In general, the lethality rate is considered little in Morocco compared to other countries, and the Corona virus is not as fatal as its predecessors, but rather is rapidly spreading and infectious and here lies its danger.

Despite all these things, prevention is better than treatment, especially physical spacing, hygiene and wearing masks.
