the high Atlas mountain.. the hiking experience wich should be lived (exclusive images)

I had a beautiful experience in the time of Corona, when I decided to spend five days

in one of the small hotels in the High Atlas, specifically in a beautiful area called Wirgan.

Wirgan  is a village among the High Atlas Mountains, 60 kilometers south of Marrakesh,

on the way to Ouarzazate.

The views of forests, towering mountains and dams are wonderful, tempting hiking,

among the mountains, reading books and meditating as well.

Safety is guaranteed here, especially as the people are very kind and very friendly,

greeting you as you pass by or asking them when you go wrong.

There are many motels in the area, and there are also three famous hotels classified

within the five-star hotels, one of which is owned by British billionaire Richard Branson.

In the afternoon, at the end of the week, I arrived at the Diwan Hotel, which is a small and beautiful

motel, with very friendly and helpful owners, and the food is authentic Moroccan food,

cooked by the Moroccan family that owns the place.

Three meals a day with accommodation for a very reasonable price, less than 30 euros.

I get up in the morning and go for a walk between the mountains, I come back in the middle of the day

to eat lunch and have a nap.

Sometimes I don't come back until six in the evening, I take a shower and sit down and enjoy

the music in front of the fireplace, before I eat dinner and go to sleep.

The place is beautiful and suitable for spending the end of the Year  and celebrating new year and

also suitable for couples to spend an unforgettable honeymoon, and for those who love

nature and tranquility, away from the noise of big cities.

On my last hike, I walked 18 kilometers between the mountains and didn't notice the time.

I put headphones in my ears and set out to discover new places and meet new people.

on my way to the hostel.

A memorable experience that I hope you will give it a try if you get the chance.

Summer in Morocco 2025: Traditions, Daily Life, and Cultural Rhythms

Summer in Morocco in 2025 is not only about the heat and the sunshine; it is a season of social rhythms, cultural gatherings, and daily habits that shape life across the country. As temperatures rise, Moroccans naturally adapt their routines, shifting much of their activity into the cooler hours of the evening when families and friends fill the streets, cafés, and seaside promenades. In coastal cities such as Casablanca, Rabat, and Tangier, the Atlantic breeze softens the summer atmosphere, turning the evenings into lively social occasions. Families stroll along the corniche, children play near the water, and young people gather in open cafés where mint tea and fresh juices remain essential companions to conversation. This nightly migration toward public spaces is one of the most distinctive features of Moroccan summer life. In Marrakech, Fez, and the historic towns of the interior, the story takes a different turn. The heat of the day pushes life into the shaded alleys of the...
