The Casablanca tramway (Exclusive pictures)

A tram station in casablanca (09 am)

Have you ever been Use the Casablanca tramway ? I do it every morning

The casablnca  tramway Casablanca line was launched on 12 December 2012 and is a nice day.

There are currently two tram lines connecting one north-west of  the largest city in morocco; one line going the colleges  where the end of the first line , and the second line end is at the famous Ain Diab beach in Casablanca.

The length of the tramway, which spans more than an hour, allows you to see the most important landmarks of Morocco's economic capital.

A French company supervised the completion of the tramway, while the project was implemented by a Turkish company.

Tramway trips know a lot of jokes I can talk about that  later, among the passengers themselves.

The tramway is filled of travelers  in the morning between 07 am and 9 AM, and Afternoon and evening  bitween 5 pm and 7pm when people leave workplaces and return home.

itis excellent travel way in  Casa; Tramway makes getting across the city a simple and comfortable exercise.

The most useful section of line for travellers is from Casa Voyageurs train station to Place Mohammed V, via the Marché Central and the United nations Place .

Trams also go to Ain Diab (about 35 minutes from city center of Casablanca).

Trams runs every 15 minutes, with the first and last departures from the termini at 5.30am and 10.30pm.

Tickets are Dh7 for a single trip, bought from easy-to-use machines on the platforms (multiple-journey tickets are also available).

There is no doubt that the tramway has an important role to play in solving the transport crisis in big cities such Casablanca; which needs other means, waiting for the new tram line, so that Casablanca will not turn into Cairo, the Egyptian capital, which is suffering from traffic congestion. This is a problem.

If you are a new visitor to the city of Casablanca, the tramway remains a convenient means of transport to discover the city's landmarks and enjoy the Atlantic Ocean, and have tea or coffee in front of the sea.

The best times for a tourist's to get tramway are 13 pm to 17 pm where it is empty.

You when you be on tramway you can see, the marché central, door MOHAMED 5 PLACE and the famous square in the city center.

The tramway passes through the most prominent streets of CASABLANCA, such as Mohamed V Street, Hassan II, Abd El-Moumen and others.

The tramway from the city center or the United Nations PLACE to Ein Diab takes about 35 minutes.

Summer in Morocco 2025: Traditions, Daily Life, and Cultural Rhythms

As temperatures rise, Moroccans naturally adapt their routines, shifting much of their activity into the cooler hours of the evening when families and friends fill the streets, cafés, and seaside promenades. In coastal cities such as Casablanca, Rabat, and Tangier, the Atlantic breeze softens the summer atmosphere, turning the evenings into lively social occasions. Families stroll along the corniche, children play near the water, and young people gather in open cafés where mint tea and fresh juices remain essential companions to conversation. This nightly migration toward public spaces is one of the most distinctive features of Moroccan summer life. In Marrakech, Fez, and the historic towns of the interior, the story takes a different turn. The heat of the day pushes life into the shaded alleys of the...
